Harrison St Early Education is a not- for profit community based early educations service established in 1985 to provide affordable quality care and education for children aged 6 weeks to 5 years.

The service is approved to operate by the Department of Education and is accredited
as EXCEEDING the National Quality Standards for Early Childhood Education and Care.

Our Team

We pride ourselves on the quality education and care given by our educators. Many of whom have been at the service for 10 to 20+ years. We exceed standards in educator to child ratios to encourage and promote positive relationships between children and educators.

We provide a nurturing and safe environment that promotes children’s well-being, development, and learning. We value play and advocate for the child’s right to play. Our play-based curriculum engages children in rich and meaningful experiences and develops essential skills for successful learners.

Harrison St Early Education is not-for-profit putting children first and investing any surplus in the quality of the service. The service is managed by an experienced director and parent committee whose contribution is vital to the principles of community management and ownership.

We couldn’t be happier with the care our children receive at Harrison St Early Learning. Every staff member—from the educators and support staff to the reception team and wonderful chefs—plays such an important role in creating a warm, welcoming and nurturing environment.

The educators genuinely care for each child, encouraging them to learn, grow and thrive every day. The facilities are always clean, safe and beautifully maintained, with engaging indoor and outdoor spaces that our children absolutely love.

Harrison St is truly a second home for our daughter. The genuine care, love and kindness shown by all the staff is something we are incredibly grateful for.
